Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative functions related to the accounts managed by the Rhino Sports division of REVELXP. This role supports staff, manages office resources, and serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The Operations Coordinator also supports key business functions including staff recruitment, human resources, and client management, while fostering a positive workplace culture through strong organizational support and responsiveness to employee needs. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The position functions under the supervision of the property General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and client relationships
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and office events
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure organization
- Assist with staff recruitment, human resources, and basic account management tasks
- Assist the General Manager & Assistant General Manager to build, maintain, and nourish constructive relationships with clients; identify and grow new business relationships
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and customer inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, time tracking, and recordkeeping
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Proven and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail
- Possess a service-oriented mindset
- Be able to respond to change in a positive and productive manner
- Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
- Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail
Work Environment
- Standard office environment
- Frequent interaction with internal partners, clients, and staff
- Long periods of sitting while on the phone and at the computer are common on office days
- Ability to step in and work events, if needed which may include security, ticket scanning, ushering, guest services, or supervisor roles
