Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week correctional healthcare travel assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity offers a consistent 3x12 night-shift block schedule, 36 guaranteed hours per week, competitive weekly travel compensation, and a FREE facility-provided housing option subject to availability.

• Taxable Rate: $26.00/hour
• Taxable Weekly Wages: $936
• Tax-Free Travel Stipend: $1,246/week for eligible travelers
• Housing Portion: $770/week
• Meals & Incidentals: $476/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the assigned facility to qualify for the travel package. Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable tax-home and travel requirements.
FREE HOUSING AVAILABLE
Free shared traveler housing is available for this assignment on a first-come, first-served basis and must be confirmed before placement.
The traveler housing is a shared three-bedroom mobile home featuring:
• Individual traveler bedrooms
• Kitchen
• Living room
• Laundry
• Wi-Fi
Travelers may use an available bedroom during their scheduled workdays. After completing the scheduled three-shift block, travelers must vacate the property and may return for their next scheduled block.
Housing is shared with other travelers working at the facility. Availability is limited and must be confirmed before a room is considered secured.
THE ASSIGNMENT
• Provide professional registered nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate safe and appropriate patient care.
• Follow facility safety, infection-prevention, and emergency-response protocols.

Requirements
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for practice in New Mexico REQUIRED
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the assigned facility to qualify for the travel package REQUIRED
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts on the Sunday–Tuesday block schedule REQUIRED
• Availability for the full 13-week travel assignment REQUIRED
• Ability to provide professional nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment REQUIRED
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills REQUIRED
• Ability to administer medications and treatments as ordered REQUIRED
• Ability to complete required background and facility clearance requirements REQUIRED
• Ability to complete required PREA training during orientation REQUIRED
Experience
