Position Summary
Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll guide customers through the vehicle repair process, serve as the primary liaison between customers and insurance partners, and prepare accurate damage estimates that keep our body shop running efficiently. If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
Compensation
- $60,000+ annually, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the vehicle repair process, ensuring clear communication and excellent service at every step
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and insurance partners to facilitate a smooth, stress-free repair experience
- Inspect and evaluate damaged vehicles, preparing accurate and comprehensive damage estimates using CCC One
- Manage multiple tasks, including estimates, vehicle arrivals, and deliveries, to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver outstanding customer service, building trust and long-term relationships
Qualifications
- Automotive estimating experience required
- Proficiency with CCC One and Mitchell estimating software
- Familiarity with insurance direct repair program (DRP) guidelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- I-CAR certification preferred, but not required
