The Kensington Hotel is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Part-Time Morning Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team. If you enjoy meeting people, creating positive first impressions, and helping guests have a great stay, we’d love to have you on our team!
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional hospitality. Morning shifts are available, typically 7:00am - 3:00pm with scheduling flexibility based on hotel needs.

What You'll Do
- Welcome guests immediately with a warm, friendly, and sincere greeting.
- Use a positive, professional, and clear speaking voice while listening carefully to guest requests and responding with appropriate action.
- Complete the guest registration and check-in process by accurately entering and retrieving information from the hotel computer system.
- Confirm pertinent guest information and promote hotel sales initiatives and available services.
- Select appropriate rooms based on guest preferences and needs.
- Prepare and provide welcome folders, room keys, certificates, coupons, and other materials as appropriate.
- Verify and process credit cards for authorization.
- Handle cash, make change, and accurately balance an assigned house bank.
- Accept and record vouchers, travelers checks, and other approved forms of payment.
- Answer telephone calls promptly using professional and positive communication.
- Accurately input and retrieve guest messages and communicate information to guests.
- Receive and distribute guest mail and packages.
- Complete guest check-out procedures and determine guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns and, when appropriate, negotiate solutions that may include authorizing revenue allowances.
- Listen carefully to guest complaints, conduct research, and develop effective solutions.
- Remain calm, professional, and alert during emergencies, challenging situations, and periods of heavy hotel activity.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
