Why This Role Matters
Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve.
As the Director of Product Management, Data Intelligence, you will guide the Data Intelligence (DI) roadmap and make sure it lands in the market. You will work hand in hand with Product Marketing, Marketing, and Sales to bring new capabilities to market successfully, and you will lead the DI product team to deliver the roadmap with consistency and quality. You will also be a key partner on cross-product initiatives that connect DI to the rest of the Kinective platform, so banks and credit unions can turn their data into action and measurable business results.
You will report to the VP of Product, Data Intelligence, and carry the strategy into day-to-day execution through your team and your cross-functional partners.
What You'll Own
Roadmap Leadership
- Guide the Data Intelligence roadmap in partnership with the VP of Product, turning product line strategy into clear priorities, sequencing, and release plans.
- Bring together customer feedback, market trends, competitive insight, and financial institution use cases to make well-reasoned prioritization calls.
- Prioritize scalable, repeatable capabilities over custom one-off requests, and communicate the "why" behind roadmap decisions to internal teams and clients.
- Keep the roadmap connected to commercial outcomes, including packaging, pricing, and the use cases that matter most to banks and credit unions.
Go-to-Market Partnership
- Partner directly with Product Marketing, Marketing, and Sales so every launch has clear positioning, messaging, enablement, and a plan that sales teams can use right away.
- Make sure launches are grounded in what the product can demonstrate today, with a clear view of what is coming next.
- Bring the voice of the customer and the field back into the roadmap through client conversations, advisory programs, and regular feedback loops with Sales and Services.
- Support sales and client conversations as a product expert where DI value, use cases, and roadmap direction need to be told well.
Execution Leadership
- Lead and develop the DI product team, including Product Managers and Product Owners, setting clear expectations, coaching on craft, and building strong operating habits.
- Drive execution on the roadmap with Engineering, UX, Services, and Support through clear requirements, healthy Agile practices, and predictable delivery.
- Run the operating cadence for DI, including planning, release readiness, KPI tracking, risk and dependency management, and status reporting to the VP and leadership.
- Spot risks early, remove blockers, and escalate with options and recommendations.
Cross-Product and Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Lead or co-lead cross-product initiatives where DI capabilities power broader Kinective solutions, platform work, and solution bundles.
- Partner with Platform, AI, and other product lines to align requirements, sequencing, and delivery across teams.
- Help make sure DI data and functionality work seamlessly with the rest of the Kinective platform, so clients see one connected experience.
How We'll Measure Success
- Delivering DI roadmap commitments with consistency, quality, and clear communication.
- Launching new capabilities and offers with strong Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing alignment, and measurable adoption.
- Building a DI product team that is engaged, growing, and executing with confidence.
- Making cross-product initiatives easier to deliver, with clear ownership and on-time results.
- Earning trust across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, and leadership as the go-to partner for DI roadmap and execution.
- Contributing to Data Intelligence growth targets through well-prioritized roadmap decisions and successful launches.
Success here isn't about checking boxes. It's about propelling Kinective's mission to lead the way to intelligent banking.
You must bring excellence to your craft, balance resourcefulness with respect, share and celebrate unique expertise and diverse perspectives, and continuously raise the bar as we innovate and grow.
