  • Operate and manage audio, video, and sound equipment for Masses, liturgical celebrations, ministry gatherings, and parish events.
  • Provide audiovisual support in the Church, Parish Life Center, and other campus facilities as needed.
  • Set up, test, operate, and properly store microphones, speakers, amplifiers, lighting, and other AV equipment.
  • Coordinate audio and video presentations with clergy, musicians, speakers, ministry leaders, and parish staff.
  • Communicate proactively with scheduled groups to identify and prepare for upcoming audiovisual needs.
  • Anticipate audiovisual needs, communicate effectively with parish staff and ministry leaders, and ensure all equipment is prepared, tested, and fully operational before scheduled events.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of audiovisual responsibilities by proactively identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain AV equipment to ensure proper functionality and reliable performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform minor equipment adjustments, and report major malfunctions to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and completed work.
  • Support special events, holidays, and other parish activities requiring audiovisual assistance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support parish operations.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of related audiovisual experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of audio, video, sound systems, microphones, amplifiers, lighting, and related AV equipment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clergy, staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and guests.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high standards, attention to detail, and dependable performance.
  • Proactive, service-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability, initiative, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, follow through on requests, and communicate effectively regarding project status and technical concerns.
  • Ability to understand and follow equipment safety procedures and operational requirements.
  • Ability to maintain written records of work performed and equipment used.
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, squat, and stand for extended periods while setting up and operating equipment.
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, including holidays and emergencies, as needed.
