Social Services Director

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Services Director to lead and oversee our social service programs, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and effective support to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise social service programs to ensure quality and compliance with organizational standards.

- Evaluate the social needs of each resident upon admission and develop comprehensive written care plans.

- Review and revise care plans at least quarterly or as needed to adapt to residents' changing needs.

- Refer residents and their families to appropriate community resources and support services.

- Counsel residents, family members, and support staff through assessment and care planning processes.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community agencies, social services, and local resources to support residents effectively.

- Attend in-service training, online courses, and other educational opportunities to maintain professional credentials and stay current with best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.

- Knowledge of sociology, special education, rehabilitative counseling, and psychology.

- Proven ability to counsel residents and support staff effectively.

- Strong understanding of community resources, social agencies, and local services.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to assess individual needs and develop tailored care plans.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
