Description
Responsible for the accurate scanning of legal documents into database; organize, maintain, and retrieval of the firm's physical and electronic records while protecting confidential and sensitive information. Ensures records are properly indexed, securely maintained, readily accessible to authorized personnel, and managed in accordance with firm policies, legal requirements, and established retention procedures.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Scan documents into electronic format and accurately file within the firm's established records-management system.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of firm records and information.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in electronic databases and records-management systems.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper organization before scanning or filing.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Sort, organize, and prepare hard-copy records for scanning, including removing staples, paper clips, bindings, and other materials as appropriate.
- Assist with records-related projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time as required by the position.
- Serve as a backup Receptionist, providing coverage for lunches, breaks, vacations, and other periods when Reception coverage is needed.
Education requirements·
Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED
