Description

  

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Tech to join our manufacturing engineering team in Spokane, Washington. This position is designed for someone who enjoys hands-on experience solving real manufacturing problems and supporting day-to-day production. 


The tech will work alongside manufacturing engineers, production personnel, quality, and other cross-functional team members to troubleshoot production issues, improve manufacturing processes, update manufacturing documentation, and assist with engineering projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Work directly with production employees and manufacturing engineers to understand manufacturing issues and develop solutions that are practical for the shop floor.

· Assist with updating work instructions and manufacturing documentation as processes change

· Support engineering changes and change requests involving manufacturing operations, materials, labeling, and related production information.

· Assist with reviewing and maintaining manufacturing data, including current-material and backflush information

· Participate in manufacturing improvement and process-control projects

· Help develop and implement mistake-proofing and verification solutions 

· Support engineering projects through research, data gathering, analysis, testing, and documentation

· Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:


· Current degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable working in both an office and production-floor environment

· Ability to communicate and work effectively with production employees, engineers, and other departments

· Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications

· Experience with CAD, ERP/MRP systems, data analysis, programming, or manufacturing equipment is beneficial but not required

· Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned projects

Salary Description
