About the Role


Vertosoft is seeking a Salesforce & GTM Systems Manager to lead the team and technology behind our revenue operations. You will own Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ, guide the connected systems that support our sales teams, and improve how opportunities, quotes, orders, and reporting move across the business.


This is a hands-on management role. You will supervise and develop team members, set a practical systems roadmap, solve complex configuration and integration issues, and work with Sales, Supplier and Partner Management, Contracts, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. The right person can design a scalable solution, deliver it with the team, and explain the change clearly to the people who use it.

What You’ll Do


Lead the Team and Systems Roadmap


· Manage assigned Salesforce and GTM systems team members, including work assignments, coaching, performance feedback, development, and hiring participation

· Run the intake and prioritization process for support requests and enhancements, balancing urgent needs with planned projects and team capacity.

· Build a roadmap tied to business outcomes such as faster quotes, accurate order handoffs, cleaner pipeline data, better forecasts, and stronger user adoption.

· Evaluate new tools, AI capabilities, and automation opportunities, and recommend improvements that are secure, useful, and maintainable.


Own Salesforce and CPQ


· Serve as the hands-on Salesforce administrator and solution design lead for Sales Cloud and CPQ while guiding the team’s day-to-day platform work.

· Oversee configuration, user access, permission sets, Flows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.

· Maintain account, contact, and opportunity data structures that reflect relationships among suppliers, partners and resellers, and government buyers.

· Manage CPQ product catalogs, pricebooks, supplier pricelists, contract-vehicle pricing, discount and approval workflows, quote templates, and renewals.

· Lead releases through design, sandbox testing, user acceptance, documentation, deployment, and communication.


Connect Systems and Improve Quote-to-Cash


· Oversee integrations among Salesforce, NetSuite, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and other connected tools; identify and resolve sync errors and data mismatches.

· Partner with Finance, Contracts, and Operations to keep quote, pricing, contract-vehicle, order, and invoice data aligned across systems.

· Translate business requests into requirements and lead cross-functional projects from discovery through launch and adoption.


Strengthen Data, Reporting, and Adoption


· Maintain reliable pipeline, bookings, forecast, and supplier performance reporting for business leaders.

· Set practical standards for data quality, account hierarchies, enrichment, documentation, and access to sensitive commercial information.

· Create guidance and training that help employees use systems effectively and support consistent processes across teams.

· Maintain clear records of configuration, permissions, integrations, and changes to support security and audit needs.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


How Success Is Measured


· Team members have clear priorities, effective coaching, and reliable support coverage.

· Quote turnaround and order handoffs improve while preventable system and data errors decline.

· Salesforce and CPQ changes are well tested, documented, and adopted by users.

· Leadership can rely on pipeline, forecast, bookings, and supplier reporting.

· Cross-functional projects move forward with clear ownership and communication.


What We’re Looking For


Required Qualifications


· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· At least five years of experience in business systems, revenue operations systems, or CRM platform ownership, with deep hands-on Salesforce administration.

· Experience directly managing employees, including assigning work, coaching, and evaluating performance.

· Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.

· Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience with product and price rules, pricebooks, approvals, and quote templates.

· Experience supporting a Salesforce-to-ERP integration and quote-to-cash workflows.

· Strong Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, data modeling, reporting, security, and permissions skills.

· Experience leading systems projects from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and user adoption.

· Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, and integration concepts, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across connected systems.

· Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and sound judgment with confidential commercial data.


Preferred Qualifications


· NetSuite integration experience and familiarity with Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or similar GTM tools.

· Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist, or Revenue Cloud certification.

· Experience with a technology distributor, value-added reseller, government contractor, or public sector technology business.

· Knowledge of government contract vehicles, deal registration, partner programs, and their impact on quoting and pricing.

· Experience with integration or deployment tools such as Celigo, MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier, Gearset, or Salesforce CLI.

· Experience using AI tools to improve business workflows; Apex, SOQL, or Python skills are a plus.


Compensation & Benefits


·  Compensation Range based on total On-Target Earnings (OTE)): $135,000- $185,000

Total on-target earnings (OTE) include base salary plus target bonus and/or commission, as applicable to the position.
