Your Role as an Administrative Support Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and professionalism.
- Lead and support administrative team members through coaching, training, and development.
- Develop and maintain office procedures, workflows, and best practices.
- Manage office resources, equipment, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure the office environment is organized, welcoming, and well-maintained for employees and clients.
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and administrative support activities as needed.
- Assist with onboarding and supporting new team members.
- Monitor office expenses and assist with invoices, expense reporting, and administrative financial processes.
- Serve as a resource for employees by addressing operational questions and resolving concerns.
- Partner with the Information Technology team to coordinate employee technology resources and support.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Support firm initiatives, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of administrative or office management experience, preferably within public accounting or another professional services environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service mindset with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
