Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is a leading provider of commercial skilled trade services throughout Southern California. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. 


The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recent, hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience and the ability to work at various jobsites throughout Southern California, including Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire. The Installer will be provided with a company-issued vehicle and fuel card for business use only. 


Schedule

  • Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare jobsites for demolition and installation projects
  • Install various HVAC systems including ductwork, conduit, and electrical
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide end user education
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Practice safety procedures and guidelines as outlined by the department
  • Operate company vehicles within department policies
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Additional duties and projects may be assigned to support the growth of the department
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent employment experience as an HVAC installer
  • Valid EPA certification at a minimum of 608 type 2, 3 or universal
  • Proficient English communication skills to write reports and emails
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Valid driver license with an insurable driving record
  • Must be able to work according to safety guidelines, CALOSHA, and workplace policies
