Position Summary

The Sales & Marketing Visual Content Creator is a hands-on creative resource responsible for capturing and producing compelling visual content that brings LEO’s work, people, and brand to life. From major events and behind-the-scenes moments to interviews, social content, case studies, sales materials, and executive storytelling, this role turns what is happening across LEO into content that can be shared quickly and intentionally.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Content, this role works closely with the Sales & Marketing team and company leadership to shorten the distance between the spark of an idea and publication. The ideal candidate is a versatile visual storyteller who can move seamlessly between a camera, an editing timeline, and an event floor, and knows how to find the story without waiting for someone else to point it out.


Key Responsibilities


Visual Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Capture high-quality video and photography at LEO-produce client programs, internal offices, and industry events.
  • Produce and edit short- and long-form visual content, including social videos, reels, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, case studies, executive content, sales materials, and brand storytelling.
  • Identify compelling stories, moments, and perspectives while onsite and translate them into content appropriate for multiple channels and audiences.
  • Conduct and capture interviews with employees, executives, partners, and other subjects as directed.
  • Edit content for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios, and audience needs while maintaining a consistent LEO brand and visual identity.
  • Deliver rapid-turn content when timeliness is critical, particularly during live events, conferences, and major programs.
  • Create same-day and onsite social content when appropriate, including Reels, Stories, vertical video, behind-the-scenes content, and other quick-turn assets.
  • Maximize each content capture opportunity by intentionally gathering footage and assets that can be repurposed across social, marketing, sales, recruiting, and other business needs.
  • Create motion graphics, animated typography, branded visual treatments, and other graphic elements that enhance video storytelling.
  • Use music, sound design, pacing, and editing techniques to create polished, engaging content that reflects the energy and emotion of LEO experiences.

Content Planning & Collaboration

  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Brand Content and the Director, Marketing & Communications to translate marketing priorities, campaigns, and business needs into visual content.
  • Plan content capture in advance of major events, including shot lists, interview opportunities, storytelling priorities, and required equipment.
  • Capture intentionally with the final story in mind, gathering establishing shots, details, human moments, reactions, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and other elements needed to build a complete visual narrative.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to develop visual content that supports prospecting, capabilities presentations, case studies, and business development efforts.
  • Work with company leaders to capture and develop executive thought leadership and other leadership-driven content.
  • Maintain an organized library of photography, video footage, completed content, and reusable visual assets.
  • Balance planned content needs with the ability to recognize and capture unexpected moments and opportunities in real time.


Creative Technology & Innovation

  • Stay current on emerging content platforms, production technology, editing applications, social media formats, and visual storytelling trends.
  • Research and recommend tools, equipment, applications, and workflows that improve content quality, production speed, and efficiency.
  • Explore responsible uses of AI and emerging creative technology to enhance editing, production, organization, and content development.
  • Continuously improve workflows that shorten production timelines while maintaining brand and quality standards.
  • Maintain proficiency across professional and social-first editing platforms and identify the right tools and workflows based on the content need, timeline, and intended channel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, film, media production, photography, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Professional experience creating video, photography, and multimedia content for brands, agencies, organizations, or similar environments.
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating videography, photography, editing, and visual storytelling skills required.
  • Strong proficiency with professional video and photo equipment.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with experience using CapCut or similar social-first editing platforms. Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create content for social and digital platforms, including short-form vertical video.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, audio, interviewing, editing, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to independently manage the content production process from planning and capture through editing and final delivery.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced live event environments and adjusting quickly as schedules, conditions, and content opportunities change.
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to balance quality, brand standards, and speed.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including nights and weekends, to support major LEO programs and content opportunities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment of this position vary depending on office, travel, and program assignments. 

Onsite responsibilities may require standing and walking for extended periods, including walking long distances throughout large venues such as hotels, convention centers, arenas, and outdoor event spaces. Event schedules may involve extended or irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds. Onsite work may occur in indoor or outdoor environments and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, noise levels, crowds, uneven surfaces, and other conditions commonly associated with live events and event venues.
