The Loan Administration Associate will handle administrative tasks related to loan accounts. This employee will process payments, maintain records, process and board new loans, communicate with borrowers, and ensure compliance with regulations. 


 Essential Functions:

  • Process loan payments and payoffs, including posting and reconciling transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of loan accounts and update information as needed.
  • Upload and board loans to our Core system after loan closing.
  • Create and monitor insurance and real estate escrow payments.
  • Communicate with borrowers regarding payment inquiries, account updates, and documentation requests.
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and initiate appropriate collection activities.
  • Prepare and distribute loan-related correspondence, such as loan application documents, statements, and notices.
  • Assist with the preparation of loan documents and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and customer service, to resolve borrower issues.
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support the loan administration team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Previous experience in Mortgage and Consumer Loan experience, preferred.
  • Prior banking experience, preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbal.
