Job Overview:

Nemean Solutions is seeking a Property Book Officer / Logistics Specialist to support DEVCOM Headquarters at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This position maintains accountability for Government property and equipment while supporting warehouse receiving, storage, shipping, delivery, inventory, excess property turn-in, and vehicle fleet records. The role works with the Accountable Property Officer (APO), Government customers, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to keep records accurate and property movements documented.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, offload, stage, ship, and deliver supplies, materials, furniture, equipment, and industrial chemicals; verify packing slips against nomenclature, part and serial numbers, models, manufacturers, and quantities.
  • Maintain daily digital records and chain-of-custody documentation for receipts, shipments, deliveries, warehouse assets, and excess property turn-ins; respond to customer questions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate customer deliveries and local pickups of Government-purchased items within a 30-mile radius of the APG Aberdeen Area using Government vehicles; document pickup and delivery transactions.
  • Track equipment in the G4 warehouse, classify expendable and non-expendable property, and prepare weekly warehouse activity and monthly equipment inventory reports for the COR and APO.
  • Manage excess equipment from customer turn-in through disposition, including scheduling appointments, verifying item details, preparing and maintaining DA Form 3161, DD Form 1348, DD Form 200, DA Form 4949, and related records, and coordinating transfer to the LRC or DLA.
  • Maintain property book records, a document number register, and the approved Accountable Property System of Record (APSR); assist the APO with annual or directed inventories and report discrepancies in writing.
  • Research equipment data and track catalog correction requests in AESIP; update GCSS-Army records to reflect approved catalog information.
  • Maintain an orderly, secure warehouse and daily visitor and activity security logs; handle, block, brace, palletize, and transport equipment in accordance with applicable safety and cargo securement requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections of material handling equipment, track findings, and maintain a digital database for the GSA nontactical vehicle fleet, including dispatch, inspections, mileage, fuel use, registrations, and accident reports.
  • Follow applicable Army property accountability and supply policies, contract procedures, installation access requirements, and required security and cyber training.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain accurate property, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory records and to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ability to use digital systems and Government-issued computers or tablets for warehouse transactions, property tracking, and reports.
  • Ability to safely handle and move equipment and materials, operate Government vehicles when authorized, and comply with installation, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required installation and Common Access Card access and complete required Government training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Army property accountability, warehouse operations, excess property turn-in, APSR, GCSS-Army, AESIP, Army logistics forms, GSA fleet tracking, or material handling equipment inspections.

Security Clearance:

  • DoD SECRET Level Clearance Required

The salary range listed represents the minimum and maximum compensation Nemean Solutions, LLC, in good faith, believes it may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, qualifications, contract requirements, and other job-related factors.
