What You'll Do
- Provide Comprehensive Psychiatric Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, manage medications, and provide ongoing treatment for assigned clients.
- Provide Clinical Leadership: Offer clinical direction and consultation to Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) and nursing staff to support safe, effective, high-quality care.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with clinical staff and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate services that support each client's needs and recovery goals.
- Support Quality Care: Conduct utilization reviews, evaluate treatment plans, and help ensure services meet established clinical standards.
- Mentor and Educate: Contribute to the ongoing education, professional development, and clinical supervision of staff.
- Contribute to Organizational Excellence: Participate in administrative responsibilities and relevant committees that strengthen clinical practices and improve service delivery.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas license to practice medicine as a psychiatrist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of mental health and medical professionals.
- Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive, and person-centered care.
- Sensitivity to the cultural, ethnic, and individual differences of the clients served.
