Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Business Office Manager to lead business office operations at our outpatient imaging centers in the Raleigh, NC area!

Position Details

  • Position Status: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Day Shift (occasional evenings and weekends as needed)
  • Location: Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas

Position Summary


The Business Office Manager oversees daily business office operations, supervises staff, and ensures efficient workflows and exceptional patient service. This role works closely with clinical leadership and administration to support operational goals, improve processes, and maintain compliance with organizational policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, train, and develop business office staff.
  • Manage daily operations, staffing schedules, timekeeping, and employee performance.
  • Oversee patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, preauthorizations, and payment processes.
  • Monitor department performance and implement workflow improvements.
  • Resolve patient concerns and operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, billing regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, budgets, and operational goals.
  • Maintain a positive, efficient, and patient-focused work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical office operations, insurance processes, and patient scheduling.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED), bachelor degree preferred.


SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
