Product Management Intern
Denver
Job Type
Internship
Description

Residex’s product organization sets direction across a 14-module platform serving senior living communities. We’re looking for a Product Management Intern to join our Denver office, with a start date as soon as possible. In this role, you’ll support product managers across the intake-to-triage process, turning customer feedback, support tickets, and market signals into clear problem statements and organized backlog input that the product team can act on.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collect and organize customer feedback, feature requests, and support escalations from multiple sources (support tickets, sales notes, customer calls) into a single, structured backlog.
  • Support intake triage by drafting clear problem statements — what’s broken, who it affects, and how often — before items reach product managers for prioritization.
  • Research competitor products and market trends in the senior living software space, summarizing findings into concise briefs.
  • Assist with writing and reviewing feature specs, acceptance criteria, and release notes, ensuring they’re written in plain language a non-technical reader can follow.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and customer experience teams to track status on in-flight initiatives and flag blockers.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research synthesis, documentation, and backlog organization, and suggest ways to reduce manual PM administrative work.
Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Advanced coursework relevant to product management (e.g., product strategy, UX/design thinking, data analysis, or business operations).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill ambiguous or unstructured feedback into concise, actionable input for the product team.
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel) and organizing information for others to act on.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open threads at once.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior exposure to a product management tool (Jira, Monday.com, Productboard, or similar).
  • Prior coursework or internship in product management, business analysis, or related field.
  • Interest in healthcare, senior living, or B2B SaaS.
  • Basic familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools.
