Description

The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and management of document control processes within the Quality Management System (QMS). Support ISO 9001 compliant manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation accuracy and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.


 JOB DUTIES:

  • Establish, maintain, and manage document control systems (electronic and hard copy) for project documents, including drawings, contracts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Manage document flow, revision, and archiving within the Ideagen Quality Management System (QPulse) or equivalent.
  • Assist in internal audits and support ISO 9001 certification processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper documentation related to QA, QC, inspection, and test protocols.
  • Support quality and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Maintain organized, accessible records ensuring timely updates and revisions.
  • Communicate effectively across teams to resolve documentation issues and improve processes.
  • Provide training and guidance on document control practices to project teams as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well with customers and team members.
  • Problem-solving oriented with a quality mindset.
  • Effective decision-making and conflict management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and a drive for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree in a technical field preferred).
  • Experience with ISO 9001 compliant manufacturing processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Dependable with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently.
  • ISO 9001 Certified Internal Auditor (preferred).
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt – CSSYB (desired).
  • Prior experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Ideagen Quality Management Software or equivalent.
