The Assistant Administrator position reports directly to the Regional Practice Administrator over the Davis Island, Riverview, Plant City and Wesley Chapel locations of Florida Urology Partners. The Assistant Administrator is directly responsible for the support and facilitation of the daily operations of the clinical locations in scope of the assigned division. The Assistant Administrator will work collectively and in a supportive capacity to the Physicians in the office, Advanced Practice Practitioners and Regional Practice Administrator. The ideal Candidate will have had exposure to and experience with clinical operations and compliance as well as team member management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, experience in healthcare operations, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced medical practice. The Assistant Administrator will be required to visit the multiple clinical locations within the division, as needed and required as part of the nature of the role.

Principal Responsibilities
- Assist the Practice Administrator with daily operations, staff supervision, workflow management, and operational problem-solving.
- Provide leadership and operational coverage when the Practice Administrator is unavailable or supporting another location.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, employee coaching, performance evaluations, and time and attendance management.
- Monitor patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, insurance verifications, authorizations, surgical scheduling, documentation, and billing workflows.
- Promote excellent patient service by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining professional standards throughout the practice.
- Monitor medical and office supply inventory, medications, equipment maintenance, facility needs, and vendor services.
- Help ensure compliance with organizational policies, OSHA, AHCA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor practice performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for improvement, and support initiatives to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Assist with invoice review, patient payment reconciliation, daily deposits, and other administrative and financial procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, team members, the Practice Administrator, and Central Business Office.
- Support organizational projects, cross-training, and collaboration across practice locations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance or related programs, required.
- Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Previous experience in medical office administration, healthcare operations, or physician practice management required.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience required
- Knowledge of medical office workflows, insurance verification, authorizations, and revenue cycle processes, required
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements, preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, required.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software; Epic experience, required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
