Paint Line Installer Job Summary

The Paint Line Project Installer helps assemble and install a new industrial paint line, including structural beams, panels, ovens, conveyors, and dunk tanks. This project-based role requires teamwork, mechanical aptitude, and a strong focus on safety.

Schedule: Approximately 60–70 hours weekly, rotating 10 days on and 2 days off. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate in accordance with applicable law. The project is expected to run through February, with assembly-line job opportunities available afterward.


Paint Line Installer Responsibilities

  • Position, support, assemble, and fasten structural beams, panels, and equipment.
  • Install components for ovens, conveyors, dunk tanks, and related systems.
  • Use hand tools to align parts, tighten bolts, and secure assemblies.
  • Stage and move materials; operate forklifts after on-site certification and authorization.
  • Collaborate with installers and supervisors while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Paint Line Installer Skills and Competencies

  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Careful attention to alignment, fastening, and safe material handling.
  • Dependability, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions.

Paint Line Installer Qualifications

  • Mechanical assembly, industrial installation, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain on-site forklift certification.
  • Ability to work extended shifts and the 10-days-on, 2-days-off rotation.

Work Environment

Industrial installation setting with possible noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment. Required protective equipment must be worn.


Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and use hand tools throughout extended shifts.
  • Lift and maneuver heavy or awkward components with team or mechanical assistance as appropriate.
  • Perform repetitive assembly, fastening, and material-handling tasks.
