POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the Bank's core banking platform, including Precision by Fiserv, related applications, and integrated business systems. This position administers, analyzes, maintains, and optimizes critical banking systems to ensure operational effectiveness, data integrity, system reliability, and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with Information Technology, business units, vendors, Audit, and Compliance to support system enhancements, integrations, testing, and ongoing operational requirements. Through effective system administration and continuous process improvement, the Senior Business Systems Analyst contributes to the delivery of efficient and secure banking services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Core Banking System Administration
- Administer, maintain, and support the Bank's core banking platform, including Precision by Fiserv and related applications.
- Monitor system performance and availability, identify issues, and support resolution of system-related disruptions.
- Configure and maintain system parameters, user access, administrator accounts, and related controls.
- Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Systems Integration and Vendor Management
- Support and maintain integrations between the core banking platform and ancillary applications, services, and third-party solutions.
- Coordinate with internal technology teams and vendors to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot supported systems and interfaces.
- Evaluate and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, and technology solutions that support business objectives.
Change Management and Testing
- Plan, coordinate, test, and implement system upgrades, maintenance activities, enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Develop and execute testing strategies for new or modified applications, integrations, and system parameters.
- Validate and communicate changes to ensure functionality, stability, security, and operational readiness.
Operational Support and Process Improvement
- Analyze system-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams and external providers.
- Provide technical assistance and training to users regarding supported systems and functionality.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process automation and system optimization.
- Support business units in the effective use of banking systems and related technology solutions.
Compliance, Risk Management, and Documentation
- Collaborate with Information Technology, Audit, Compliance, and business stakeholders to support system controls, audit requirements, and risk management practices.
- Maintain audit logs, access controls, documentation, and records required to support compliance and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor regulatory and technology developments affecting supported systems and recommend appropriate actions.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Bank initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in similar or related job duties
- Relevant certifications strongly preferred
- Experience with Fiserv products, system integrations, vendor-supported applications, and business process automation required.
