Position Overview:
GLP Attorneys is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish administrative/legal professional to support our Eastern Washington legal team(s). This position focuses on day-to-day office administration and handling a heavy volume of incoming calls, including calls on our Spanish-speaking line. Responsibilities include assisting clients and visitors, managing correspondence and files, and maintaining an organized and welcoming office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has strong communication and customer service skills.
In this position, you will:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to our Eastern Washington legal team(s). This includes tasks such as setting up new client files, scanning and closing files, communicating with clients and colleagues, handling client correspondence, managing client account balances, and performing administrative functions like copying, scanning, and faxing various client and internal communications.
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors.
- Assist with translation when needed for new and existing clients.
- Conduct general office duties to maintain a well-stocked and organized office.
- Schedule appointments and referrals.
- Handle a heavy volume of incoming calls, including calls on our Spanish-speaking line, and manage emails.
- Execute data entry and filing assignments.
- Receive, organize, and review mail and all incoming correspondence.
- Possible travel to the Spokane office for training sessions, community involvement opportunities, and office events or parties.
Qualified candidates should have experience including:
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating effective communication with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, coupled with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, reflecting a strong collaborative work ethic.
- Understanding of the confidential nature of the work, with the ability to maintain professionalism consistently.
- Proficiency in proofreading legal documents.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment.
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently, identify and resolve problems, and showcase strong organizational skills, including prioritizing tasks amid competing responsibilities.
- Competence in setting priorities and exercising independent judgment.
Compensation and Benefits: The hourly base pay range for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus bonus eligibility. Compensation is determined using local, national, and industry-specific data and is based on location. Compensation is adjusted based on the selected candidate’s years of experience, education, and skills.
