IS THIS YOU?
• You're accurate, organized, and deadline-conscious -- DMV and title work has real consequences when it's done wrong, and you're the kind of person who catches the error before it leaves your desk rather than after it becomes a problem
• You're looking for a stable, detail-driven administrative role at a well-run Snohomish County Toyota store where your accuracy and consistency are a genuine operational contribution every day
WHO WE ARE
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
Swickard operates multiple dealerships across Washington State serving guests from Snohomish County to the broader Pacific Northwest. Every vehicle sold across our Washington locations generates title and registration work that has to be processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with Washington State DOL requirements. Based in Edmonds, the DMV Clerk supports licensing and title processing across all of Swickard's Washington State stores -- handling the paperwork that connects each guest's purchase to their legal ownership of the vehicle, without errors and without delays.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Process vehicle title and registration applications for Swickard's Washington State store network accurately and on time -- ensuring all required documentation is complete and submitted to the Washington State DOL within required timeframes
• Prepare and review deal paperwork from multiple stores for title and registration accuracy -- verifying odometer disclosures, lien documentation, trade-in titles, and buyer information before submission
• Track pending title and registration transactions across all Washington locations -- following up on outstanding titles, lien releases, out-of-state transfers, and documentation gaps to prevent aging or penalty situations at any store
• Coordinate with finance offices and sales teams across Washington State stores on deal documentation requirements -- flagging missing or incorrect paperwork early so it doesn't delay registration processing
• Process lien releases, duplicate title requests, and title corrections as needed across the Washington State store network
• Maintain accurate records of all title and registration transactions in the DMS
• Communicate proactively with the DMV Manager on any transactions at risk of delay, penalty, or compliance concern
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Prior dealership DMV, title, or registration experience preferred -- Washington State DOL familiarity a meaningful advantage
• Strong attention to detail -- title and registration errors create real compliance and guest experience problems; accuracy on every transaction is the baseline expectation
• Deadline-conscious and organized -- you track your pending work, you follow up without being asked, and nothing ages on your desk without a reason
• Clear communicator -- you flag documentation problems early and coordinate with the finance office and sales team without creating friction
• Comfortable with dealership DMS platforms or quick to learn them
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
WHAT WE OFFER
• $21 - $22/hr
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• A stable, detail-driven role with real organizational scope -- supporting title and registration processing across Swickard's full Washington State store network from a central Edmonds location
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
