East Daley Analytics is a fast-growing market leader in North American energy infrastructure and commodity intelligence. Our data informs investment decisions, M&A transactions, and financial market strategies for the most sophisticated buyers in the energy sector.
We are looking for an outgoing, relationship-driven Account Manager who connects easily with people, builds trust, and translates client needs into results. This person will manage a portfolio of small- to mid-sized energy clients, driving engagement, platform adoption, subscription renewals, and account growth by connecting clients with East Daley’s data, insights, and services.
Working closely with Sales and our analysts, the Account Manager will lead client conversations, product demonstrations, and market updates. The ideal candidate is warm, confident, persuasive, and collaborative, someone who enjoys earning buy-in, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and combines initiative with strong follow-through. Curiosity about energy markets matters more than extensive industry experience.
Who thrives here
• You put clients first and take ownership of their outcomes
• You're curious about energy markets and want to understand how they move
• You're excited to work where technology, analytics, and oil and gas meet
What you'll do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts and build trusted relationships
• Manage a mix of small-to-mid-size clients across the oil and gas value chain
• Lead annual and multi-year subscription renewals in partnership with sales
• Grow accounts by identifying opportunities for additional datasets or services
• Build account plans that tie client goals to the value being delivered
• Support onboarding and ongoing adoption of our analytics platform
• Partner with our analysts to deliver market updates, insights, and data-driven support
• Run product demos, regular check-ins, and quarterly market updates
What success looks like
A successful Account Manager will:
• Learn each client's business well enough to connect our data to the decisions they make
• Keep clients engaged and using the platform between renewals, not just at renewal time
• Renew accounts on time and grow the contract value
• Bring analysts into client conversations where they add the most value
• Spot risk early and act on it before it shows up at renewal
• Become a trusted partner clients go to first when they have a question
How you'll be measured
• Retention rate
• Upsell net contract value (NCV)
• Client engagement and platform usage
Compensation
• Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus quarterly incentive compensation based on performance metrics
• Full-time, exempt position based in Greenwood Village, Colorado
Benefits
• Medical (multiple plan options), dental, and vision with company contributions
• 401(k) with a 3% company contribution
• FSA and HSA options with company contributions
• Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs
• Company-paid life, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability coverage
• Exposure to oil and gas market intelligence and SaaS analytics
• A collaborative, in-person team with direct sales and analyst support
• Professional development and a clear path for advancement
• Employees are welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs to the office
Minimum qualifications
• 2-5 years in account management, customer success, SaaS, or another client-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort presenting data, insights, and product value to clients
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in oil and gas markets, energy analytics, and technology
Preferred qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, energy management, finance, or a related field
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
• Familiarity with natural gas, crude oil, NGLs, midstream infrastructure, or broader energy markets
