We transform lives.
Phoenix Rescue Mission is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for men, women, and children facing hunger, homelessness, addiction, and other life-controlling issues. We follow Christ's example of servant-leadership and teamwork, and we are a certified Best Christian Workplace. God is doing important work here, and we'd love for you to be part of it.
As MSC Admin & HR Coordinator, you are the welcoming face of our Mission Support Center and the person who keeps hiring, onboarding, and training running smoothly. This is a great entry point for someone who wants to grow within PRM.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Every new teammate's first experience of PRM runs through you, from the interview invitation to the first day. When your work is done well, our HR team can focus on people instead of paperwork.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Keep hiring moving. Schedule phone screens, panel interviews, ride-alongs, and meet-and-greets; send confirmations and invitations; and manage reschedules.
- Welcome everyone who walks in. Greet visitors, candidates, and vendors, and manage mail and deliveries.
- Get new hires ready. Send and track assessments and pre-hire checks, prepare New Hire Orientation materials and ID badges, and submit IT setup requests.
- Track training and certifications. Coordinate group CPR training and keep Relias records accurate, with expiration reminders. Accuracy here is a compliance issue.
- Run the MSC. Manage supplies and purchasing, keep shared spaces ready, and arrange catering and setup for Board, ELT, and training events.
- Support HR and leadership. Process employment verifications and filing, and help with staff recognition, birthdays, and events.
WHAT YOU BRING
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- One or more years of administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred. Early-career candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
- Strong scheduling and calendar skills, including Outlook
- Careful attention to detail and reliable follow-through
- Comfort with Microsoft 365; we will train you on Paylocity and Relias
- Confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and willingness to sign the Mission’s Statement of Faith and Lifestyle
WHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB
- You have a warm, welcoming presence and a servant’s heart.
- You like juggling many moving pieces and never losing track of a deadline.
- You are dependable, jump in where needed, and enjoy working on a small team.
- You want your work to be an expression of your faith, and you are energized by a Christ-centered team.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Work that matters, alongside a team that celebrates one another
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with employer match
- Generous paid time off
- Paid holidays: 12
