About Ventura
Ventura Air Services is a Part 135 on-demand charter operator based at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY, with operations in Nashville, TN. We operate Cessna Citation 560XL and Bombardier Challenger 600-series aircraft, and we are growing our managed fleet.

The Role
This role has one goal: grow our managed fleet by bringing Citation XL/XLS/XLS+ and Challenger 604/605/650 aircraft onto Ventura’s Part 135 certificate. You will find owners of these aircraft, build relationships with them, and show them how Ventura’s management program meets their needs.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and qualify owners of Citation XL/XLS/XLS+ and Challenger 604/605/650 aircraft, including individuals, corporate flight departments, and family offices
• Build referral relationships with aircraft brokers, dealers, aviation attorneys, tax advisors, lenders, and MROs
• Present Ventura’s aircraft management program, including charter revenue opportunity, crew, maintenance oversight, and regulatory compliance
• Explain Part 91 and Part 135 tradeoffs clearly so owners can make an informed decision
• Carry each opportunity from first contact through a signed management agreement, and keep leadership updated on the pipeline
• Partner with Maintenance, the Chief Pilot, and Operations to bring newly signed aircraft onto the certificate smoothly
• Represent Ventura at industry events, trade shows, and owner forums
• Track transactions, available aircraft, and competitor management programs for the target aircraft types

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in aircraft management sales, aircraft brokerage, or business aviation business development
• An established network in the midsize and super-midsize jet market
• Working knowledge of Part 135 and Part 91 operations and the economics of aircraft ownership
• Familiarity with the Citation Excel family and Challenger 600 series strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with high-net-worth owners and their advisors
• Self-directed and results-driven
• Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel

Compensation
