Description

About Elica Health Centers:

Elica Health Centers is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and patient-focused Medical Provider to join our growing Immediate Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys the variety and pace of acute care while valuing a weekday-based clinic schedule and freedom from ongoing patient-panel responsibilities.

As an Immediate Care Provider, you will deliver timely, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other non-emergency healthcare needs. You will use your clinical expertise and independent judgment to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population while helping expand access to essential healthcare services in the communities Elica serves.

Why You’ll Appreciate This Role

  • Meaningful community impact: Help patients receive timely care when they need it, often preventing unnecessary emergency department visits and delays in treatment.
  • Clinical variety and autonomy: Apply strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills while caring for patients with a broad range of immediate healthcare needs.
  • No assigned patient panel: Focus on immediate patient needs without the ongoing volume of medication refills, routine follow-up requests, and other responsibilities associated with managing a primary care panel.
  • Weekday schedule: The Immediate Care clinic schedule is generally structured around Monday–Friday operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Time designated for administrative responsibilities: The appointment schedule generally includes time before lunch and near the end of the clinic day to support documentation and other administrative work. The time available may vary based on patient-care needs and the flow of the clinic.

Immediate Care Providers are generally scheduled for up to 14 patients in the morning and 14 patients in the afternoon, with appointments scheduled in 15-minute increments. The final morning appointment is scheduled at 11:15 a.m., and the final afternoon appointment is scheduled at 4:15 p.m., providing approximately 30 minutes before lunch and 30 minutes near the end of the clinic day for administrative responsibilities.

This is an exempt professional position. Providers are responsible for completing required documentation and other duties accurately and timely. While the appointment schedule is designed to provide administrative time during the clinic day, patient needs and visit complexity may affect the time available, and additional time may occasionally be necessary to complete the responsibilities of the position.

If you thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting, demonstrate sound clinical judgment, and are committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, we encourage you to apply and grow with Elica’s Immediate Care team.
