Price Support Associate

Position Type: Full Time, Hourly with benefits

Department: Price Support

Shift: 7:30AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime

Reports To: IT Systems Administrator

Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining point of sale records for products sold in Houchens owned grocery and convenience stores; including: Crossroads, IGA, Houchens, JR Foods, PriceLess, Save-A-Lot, Shell, ACE, Hanks and tobacco shops.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Key product changes into Point of Sale system.
Work with Buyers, Vendors, and Stores to update and maintain product records.
Identify and correct problems/inconsistencies with product records.
Print weekly price change tags.
Run and distribute reports when necessary.
Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

Basic computer knowledge
Basic typing skills – 30+ WPM preferred
Strong organizational ability.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to answer and respond to phone calls, faxes, and e-mails in a timely manner.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
Experience working in a retail environment.
