Job Overview

Cuzin's Seafood & Clam Bar is expanding! We are opening an exciting new location in Brick, NJ, and are seeking a passionate, highly skilled Line Cook to join our team on one of four Line Cook Stations (Appetizer, Pasta, Sautee & Grill).

This position requires speed, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive efficiently on a high-volume, fast-paced line.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Safety: Keep your station clean and obey all health and safety rules.
• Ticket Timing: Match times with all other stations so all plates for a table finish together.
• Fresh Storage: Label and rotate stock using FIFO rules to keep food safe.
• Teamwork: Help other cooks and talk clearly with expo during busy rushes.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years working in a busy kitchen line.
• Knife Skills: Safe and fast use of knives for produce and proteins.
• Pace: Ability to stay calm and work fast during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
• Attire & Focus: Professional kitchen habits and a strong work ethic.
• Volume Familiarity: Experience with catering services and large-scale food handling will significantly enhance your candidacy.
• Culinary Passion: A genuine passion for the culinary arts, exceptional flame/heat control, and an uncompromising eye for detail.
