We're recruiting experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for three travel opportunities at a Pennsylvania state correctional institution in Camp Hill. All shifts are currently open. Exact shift hours and availability will be reviewed during recruiter screening.

YOUR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT

Weekly Gross Pay: $1,700
Taxable Hourly Pay: $15.00
Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,100, subject to eligibility
Overtime Rate: $40.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

This Commonwealth of Pennsylvania opportunity is based in a secure correctional healthcare environment.

You'll work alongside licensed nursing professionals and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide appropriate nursing care while following established clinical procedures and correctional facility security protocols.

Correctional healthcare requires nurses who can remain professional, adaptable, and focused while providing safe, respectful care within a secure environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide direct nursing care within the Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and permitted within scope.
• Monitor patient health and report changes in condition.
• Perform nursing assessments appropriate to the LPN role.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Follow established clinical, security, and facility protocols.
• Provide professional patient care within a secure correctional environment.

TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY

This opportunity offers a travel compensation package. Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility to meet Heartline Staffing's travel-distance policy. Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable IRS requirements.

Local consultants may also be considered under a separately confirmed local compensation package.

Requirements
• Current, active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license REQUIRED
• Ability to provide nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment REQUIRED
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a secure environment REQUIRED
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a challenging healthcare setting REQUIRED
• Availability for an assigned shift; all shifts are currently open REQUIRED
• Ability to commit to the full 26-week assignment REQUIRED
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearances REQUIRED
• Ability to meet applicable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and correctional facility requirements prior to placement REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous correctional healthcare experience, including jail or prison nursing
• Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• Knowledge of correctional facility protocols and safety procedures
• Current BLS / CPR certification
• Bilingual communication abilities

TRAVEL COMPENSATION ELIGIBILITY
Travel stipend eligibility depends on the consultant's tax home and applicable IRS requirements. Local consultants may be considered under a separately confirmed local compensation package.

Licensure, experience, and required credentials will be verified prior to submission.
