Plant Finance Controller
Description

Plant Controller — Build the Business. Develop the Team. Make an Impact.

Your Opportunity at Revere

Revere Plastics Systems is looking for a high-impact Plant Controller to help lead the financial performance of our flagship Northwest Ohio operation—a complex, growing, approximately $100 million manufacturing facility with about 400 team members working across three shifts, located just 30 minutes from Sandusky.

This is far more than a traditional accounting role. Reporting to the Division Controller, you will be a critical business partner to the General Manager, a trusted voice for the plant leadership team, and a visible finance leader with exposure to Revere’s CFO and other C-suite executives. With significant activity, change, and opportunity across the operation, you will learn the business and our customers, shape better decisions, develop a strong team, and see the direct impact of your leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Controls

• Lead plant financial reporting, close, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, and internal controls.

Business Partnership & Decision Support

· Serve as the financial co-pilot to the General Manager, translating results into clear actions and stronger business decisions.

· Provide insight on customers, pricing, product mix, labor, capital, cost reduction, and operational priorities.

Manufacturing Performance

· Analyze material, labor, overhead, scrap, yield, and purchase-price variances, then partner with leaders on corrective action.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

· Build useful dashboards, improve data quality, and automate reporting to increase speed and visibility.

· Develop business cases for capital and continuous-improvement initiatives and track results.

People Leadership & Communication

· Lead, coach, and develop the plant accounting team while building financial understanding across the operation.

· Present financial performance, risks, and opportunities to plant, division, and executive leaders.

What You Bring

You are a strong finance professional and an experienced people leader who is equally comfortable in the financial statements, in a leadership meeting, and on the plant floor. You ask smart questions, turn data into action, develop others, and thrive in a business where there is plenty to learn, improve, and influence.

How You Lead — Revere’s 4Es

· Energy & Energize Others: Bring urgency and curiosity while developing the accounting team and aligning cross-functional partners around results.

· Edge & Execution: Make sound decisions, challenge respectfully, and turn financial insight into measurable operational improvement.

· How you work: Use resourcefulness, self-awareness, intuition, and practical problem-solving to identify risks, resolve performance gaps, and build trust across the organization.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

• Make an impact: Help shape the performance of Revere’s flagship operation.

• Grow your career: Partner with the General Manager, gain C-suite visibility, and deepen your knowledge of the business and its customers.

• Be rewarded: Competitive base salary, annual bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) match, paid time off, holidays, and relocation assistance.

Ready to lead where finance and operations come together? If you are energized by building teams, solving problems, learning a business from the inside out, and making a visible impact, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing and demonstrated people leadership.

• Strong command of cost accounting, GAAP, close, forecasting, inventory, and internal controls.

• Proven ability to partner with operations leaders, influence decisions, and explain financial results to non-financial audiences.

• Advanced Excel and ERP experience; experience with BI reporting tools preferred.

• Willingness to relocate to Northwest Ohio; comprehensive relocation assistance is available.
