POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Web Developer works with internal staff clients to identify, develop and implement online Web applications and solutions. In addition, the position will provide consulting and technical support to clients with higher level needs, and assist in the administration of servers, databases and other systems. The position will also help support and administration the various internal and external systems that are used.  
 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Consult and work with clients to identify their needs and develop appropriate solutions accordingly.  
• Develop, program and maintain various Web-based forms, programs, and databases.  
• Develop and maintain high quality Web and intranet sites for clients. 
• Provide technical support to clients on a variety of Web, email, PC, security, and other technology-related issues.  
• Perform system administration tasks such as email, database and Web server configuration, program installation, security and system monitoring, and user, domain, and account maintenance.  
• Assist in sales staff in a sales engineer capacity to help identify and propose various technologies that will meet client needs.  
• Work with customers to ensure an elevated level of customer satisfaction and service.  
• Work with staff and customers to identify and implement requested changes, enhancements, additions etc. to their web pages in a timely fashion.  
• Conduct research and work with outside parties as needed to find appropriate solutions and technologies to meet internal and/or client needs.  
• Research, resolve, and respond to questions and requests received promptly in accordance with current standards.  
• Provide documentation in accordance with current standards.  
• Provide input to management for ongoing improvements to systems operations, user and technical documentation, and the application of innovative technology.  
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer related discipline or equivalent work experience.  
• Minimum of 7 years of PHP 7 and MariaDB development work, including experience with administering MariaDB services  
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Linux/UNIX OS, including administration of Linux/UNIX servers and Apache 2 
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing Web sites, including use of CSS, HTML, and advanced HTML coding to support the latest browser technologies and a minimum of 4 years' experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.  

TRAVEL

Position may require light travel as needed to support clients and/or attend company events.
