Job Description
A local direct mail company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inserter Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating mail inserting equipment and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor mail inserter machines for direct mail production.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make routine adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
- Hand-stuff envelopes with letters, stationery, and other mailing materials as needed.
- Operate additional production equipment, including cutters, stamping machines, and letter openers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure mailing accuracy and product quality.
- Verify mailing materials, quantities, and finished products against job specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience operating a mail inserter machine is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Previous warehouse or mailing production experience preferred.
