Senior Project Manager
Description

HP Tuners LLC is a global leader in the automotive aftermarket, developing software and hardware for vehicle calibration. We are growing rapidly and are looking to add a Senior Project Manager to our onsite team at our Buffalo Grove, IL office to work to support our growing products.

Employment Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. HP Tuners is not currently offering employment-based visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future.

The Senior Project Manager will use the waterfall methodology to manage multiple cross functional projects to support business objectives as well as act as a Scrum Master to a team that is moving from Waterfall to Scrum in 2027. This will be a combined role. Most projects will be technology based and this will include the entire lifecycle from conception through development, testing, manufacturing, and product release.

As a Senior Project Manager, this position will be responsible for creating and managing work schedules, reporting on project progress, facilitating meetings, and working with all departments to ensure products are released as planned. Additionally, this position will work within PMO and with other teams to build and continuously improve upon process and templates. Some non-product focused projects may be the responsibility of the Senior Project Manager, spanning the entire range of business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a willingness to get into the mix of projects and get their hands dirty to complete objectives as they will have several projects of varied complexity to manage, will need to work to identify areas where processes would add value or processes need improvement, and support the adoption of Scrum for a growing company; this is not a sit back and manage from afar position!
