We are seeking a skilled Automotive Public Safety Vehicle Installer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to be part of a team that builds mission-critical vehicles that keep communities safe.  If you have experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle upfitting, fabrication, and hands-on installation work, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with a growing industry leader.  We will consider training the right candidate who has electrical and installation experience and/or aptitude. 

Responsibilities:

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, etc.
• Install cameras, computers, and related equipment
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Qualifications:

• Experience with public safety vehicle upfitting
• Experience with 12V electrical systems (i.e. Whelen products, etc.)
• Experience with material fabrication
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Knowledgeable using hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Compensation and Benefits:

• $22.00 - $28.00/hr. based on experience
• Full-Time/non-exempt
