Vision Quest Solutions is accepting applications for part-time Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Specialist opportunities supporting the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, Office of Secure Transportation.

Employment is contingent upon contract award, staffing needs, government approval, and completion of onboarding.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Support emergency equipment readiness through routine AED inspections, documentation, and coordination of battery and electrode pad replacements.

Applicants should identify their preferred location: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Amarillo, Texas; or Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

POSITION DETAILS

Locations: Albuquerque, NM; Amarillo, TX; Oak Ridge, TN
Schedule: Part-time
Focus: AED inspections, readiness tracking, and equipment records

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct monthly AED inspections according to established procedures.
• Check device readiness indicators and identify equipment issues.
• Track battery and electrode pad expiration dates.
• Coordinate replacement of batteries, pads, and related supplies.
• Maintain accurate inspection logs and equipment records.
• Report equipment deficiencies to designated personnel.
• Follow applicable site access and equipment handling procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to follow AED inspection procedures and manufacturer guidance.
• Ability to maintain accurate equipment logs and track expiration dates.
• Ability to identify and report equipment readiness concerns.
• Ability to meet applicable government access, training, and onboarding requirements.
