Are you an experienced tree climber who enjoys working outdoors and tackling challenging residential tree removals? Arbor Baby Tree Service is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our residential tree service team. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience climbing, cutting, and removing trees safely around homes and other structures while working efficiently with a ground crew.

Responsibilities:

• Climb trees to perform residential tree trimming, cutting, and removals using proper climbing techniques and safety procedures.
• Perform tree removals on residential properties, including trees located near homes, garages, fences, and other structures.
• Use ropes, rigging equipment, and controlled cutting techniques to safely lower branches and tree sections without damaging surrounding property.
• Operate chainsaws and other tree removal equipment safely and efficiently while working at heights.
• Work closely with ground crews to coordinate tree removals, manage debris, and maintain a safe job site.
• Assist with job site cleanup, including cutting, stacking, and removing branches, logs, and other debris.
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear, ropes, chainsaws, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment on residential properties.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional tree climbing experience, preferably performing residential tree trimming and removals.
• Strong climbing skills, including experience with rope systems, knots, climbing gear, and safely operating chainsaws while working at heights.
• Experience performing residential tree removals, including working safely around homes, fences, garages, and other structures.
• Proficiency in rigging and lowering techniques to safely remove large branches and tree sections while preventing property damage.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, ropes, and other tree service equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with ground crews to ensure safe and efficient tree removal operations.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
