Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented seasonal Turn Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. Located along our golf course, The Turn provides members with a convenient place to enjoy refreshments, freshly prepared sandwiches, light meals, and grab-and-go food and beverage options during their round of golf.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and can maintain a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked environment. This position is an important part of delivering the exceptional member experience Loblolly is known for. Hours are 7:00 am to approximately 4:00 pm. Weekends are included.

Key Responsibilities

• Member Hospitality: Warmly greet members, anticipate their needs, and provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service.
• Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve items from a limited menu, including sandwiches, snacks, and beverages, while ensuring quality and presentation standards.
• Grab-and-Go Preparation: Prepare, package, label, and replenish sandwiches and other grab-and-go items to ensure freshness and availability throughout the day.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food, beverage, and supply levels, conduct inventory counts, rotate products, and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized service area, including counters, food preparation stations, equipment, refrigerators, and surrounding spaces.
• Food Safety: Follow proper food handling, sanitation, temperature control, and storage procedures.
• Point-of-Sale Operations: Accurately process member orders and charges using the Club's point-of-sale system.
• Teamwork: Work closely with fellow team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations and consistently high service standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive member experiences.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and product presentation.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry supplies as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations.
