RESPONSIBILITIES
The Van Driver is responsible for driving a non-CDL vehicle to transport passengers over specified local/distant routes according to program schedules.
- Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules; immediately reports any changes to the Director
- Exercise extreme care and judgment in driving habits
- Maintain record keeping of: Passenger census and attendance, log of pick up and drop off times, and incidents occurring on vehicle
- Notify Transportation Office of scheduled passenger's absences and vehicle's condition
- Assist passengers in entry/exit from agency vehicles or in transferring from one vehicle to another
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- NYS Driver's License with 12 months driving experience
- Clean Driving record
