Landscape Laborer at Mariner Sands Country Club

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning of trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal

- Maintain lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas by mowing, edging, and trimming

- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools safely and efficiently

- Remove debris, leaves, and trash from outdoor areas to keep the grounds clean and inviting

- Support seasonal planting and landscape design projects as directed

- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment to ensure a safe working environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance preferred

- Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely

- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions

- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Valid driver’s license may be required for equipment operation or transportation

• Able to identify various flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Experience in applying fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides.
• A clean driving record.
• Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products.
• Able to keep records and paperwork.
• Candidates must have good communication skills, organized, possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Candidate must have the ability to be a team member and be able to perform with minimum supervision.
