Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - Flight Deck Operator

Job Summary: The Flight Deck Operator is responsible for the daily operations of The Flight Deck, LMCA’s school store. This role helps provide students, families, staff, and visitors with a welcoming and positive shopping experience while ensuring the store is organized, stocked, and operating efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, service-oriented, and enthusiastic about representing LMCA and its community. Through excellent customer service and thoughtful store management, the Eagle Store Operator helps build school spirit and strengthen the LMCA community.

Essential Job Functions: 

Store Operations & Presentation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store, including shelves, racks, counters, and storage areas.
• Keep merchandise neatly folded, properly hung, organized by size and style, and creatively displayed.
• Refresh displays and feature seasonal merchandise, spirit wear, and promotional items.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening, closing, and maintaining assigned store hours.

Inventory & Sales

• Monitor inventory, receive and organize merchandise, and communicate restocking needs.
• Process sales and returns accurately, maintain records, and follow cash-handling procedures.

Customer Service & School Spirit

• Provide friendly, helpful service to students, families, staff, and visitors.
• Promote school spirit through merchandise presentation and special sales.

Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate with Communications & Engagement on merchandise, branding, and promotional needs.
• Communicate inventory needs, sales trends, and operational concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with merchandise preparation for school events and spirit days.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow LMCM policies, campus procedures, and safety expectations.
• Complete other store-related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $13-$15/hour
