Description
Job Summary:
Seeking Welders for a fabrication shop job starting ASAP for a job lasting through the end of November.
Job Length: 6 weeks
Schedule: 50-70 hours/week
Job Location: Fabrication Shop: Baytown, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SMAW and GTAW welding
- Fit-up and fabricate materials per drawings
- Read blueprints and welding symbols
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Follow all safety procedures
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience (shop/fabrication experience preferred)
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW)
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Welding certifications preferred or ability to pass qualification tests
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Must pass required drug/alcohol screening
