Our customers include data centers, utilities, self-storage, corporate and distribution centers, stadiums, government, energy, and multi-family properties. IronSite is backed by Aurora Capital Partners. We live by our CARES values: Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness, Excellence, and Safety.
Role overview
We are consolidating onto Acumatica as our single ERP and field service platform, retiring Procore, and standardizing how 18 branches schedule, bill, and report. The IT Manager makes that consolidation stick and turns our systems into a competitive advantage.
You will partner with Field Service, Regional Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and EHS. Success means technicians have what they need in the field, leaders get accurate data without spreadsheet workarounds, and our security posture holds up to customer audits and diligence. Our data center, utility, and government customers increasingly expect it.
Key responsibilities
Business systems and applications
- Own Acumatica administration (ERP, work orders, scheduling, billing, project accounting) alongside functional owners in Field Service and Finance.
- Complete the Procore sunset: archive project records, confirm data retention, and move remaining workflows into Acumatica and Smartsheet.
- Manage integrations among Acumatica, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, Vector (safety), and T3 fleet telematics.
- Build reporting that gives leaders reliable data on utilization, on-time delivery, margin, and safety.
- Standardize system configuration and workflows across branches with the Center of Excellence.
Infrastructure and end-user support
- Run networks, Wi-Fi, phones, and printers across 18 offices, shops, and warehouses.
- Own the Microsoft 365 tenant: identity, email, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, licensing.
- Deliver responsive helpdesk support, with priority on field technicians and crews.
- Manage the lifecycle of laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and field devices with Procurement & Asset Management.
- Support design and engineering tools (CAD and related software) and fabrication shop systems.
Cybersecurity and risk
- Maintain the security program: MFA, endpoint protection, patching, backups, and access reviews.
- Lead security awareness training and phishing simulations for all employees.
- Own incident response and disaster recovery plans, and test them at least annually.
- Answer customer security questionnaires and audits for data center, utility, and government work.
- Support cyber insurance renewals and lender/investor diligence.
Vendors, budget, and governance
- Manage MSPs, carriers, software vendors, and contracts with Procurement.
- Build and manage the annual IT budget; consolidate tools and licenses to cut cost.
- Set and enforce IT policies: acceptable use, access, data retention, device standards.
- Plan and execute IT integration for future acquisitions.
- Maintain a 12–24 month IT roadmap aligned to company priorities.
