Project Manager
TX
Description

 Position Summary

The Project Manager is an execution-focused role within the proposed Enterprise Program Management Office (PMO), responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned projects across one or more Bolton Holdings entities. This role serves as the operational backbone of the PMO, translating the enterprise-level standards, tools, and processes developed by the PMO into consistent, on-the-ground project execution. The Project Manager works closely with Operations Managers, Field Managers, and entity leadership to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and aligned to company-wide reporting and compliance standards, while supporting a coordinated, family-led leadership structure across the organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Standardization

  • Apply standardized project planning templates, schedules, and documentation practices established by the Enterprise PMO across assigned projects.
  • Maintain consistent project data within the PMO's Microsoft Teams / SharePoint environment, including project files, status trackers, and photo/documentation archives.
  • Contribute field-level feedback to the PMO Director to help refine and improve standardized tools, checklists, and workflows over time.

Bid Support & Participation

  • Support the transition of awarded opportunities from Contracts & Capture into active project execution, ensuring scope, deliverables, and timelines are clearly understood by the field team.
  • Participate in bid and proposal discussions as needed to provide realistic scheduling, staffing, and logistics input based on field experience.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Contracts & Capture to flag execution risks or resource constraints early in the opportunity lifecycle.

Compliance / Execution

  • Manage assigned projects from mobilization through closeout, including scheduling, resource coordination, and on-site progress tracking.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables against contractual and Fed/SLED lifecycle requirements, escalating risks or delays to the Director, Enterprise Program Management.
  • Support PMO Gate Reviews by preparing project status updates, documentation, and readiness reporting at defined lifecycle checkpoints.
  • Ensure field documentation (photos, logs, inspection records) is captured and uploaded consistently to support compliance and after-action reporting.
  • Coordinate directly with Operations Managers and Field Managers to align project execution with day-to-day field operations and crew availability.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of project management, field operations, or project coordination experience, ideally in industrial services, logistics, disaster response, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation tools; comfort operating within Microsoft Teams / SharePoint or a similar collaborative platform.
  • Willingness to travel to project and field sites as needed across supported entities up to 50% (additional travel may be necessary in emergency response)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating with contracts, procurement, or business development functions is a plus.

Core Competencies

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on deliverables and deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communicator able to work effectively across Operations, Contracts, and Sales teams.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, field-driven environments with shifting priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset consistent with a support-oriented PMO function — works to enable existing entity and operations leadership rather than direct it.
  • Sound judgment in escalating risks or issues promptly and constructively.
