This Position:

The Overnight Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of our employees and guest. To be visible to both guests and employees, being proactive in preventing disturbances before they start. The overnight shift runs from 7:00pm to 2:00am; 6 nights per week. 

• Patrols all areas of the property; assists employees and guests with room access. 
• Answer any alarms or disturbances at TRMF properties.
• Defuses employee and guest disturbances; calls for outside assistance if needed. 
• Document a concise security report of activities and irregularities. 
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of both security functions of a property, as well as documentation. 
• Conduct investigations of security incidents. 
• Call Police or Fire Departments in cases of emergency.
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with TRMF values. 
• The Security position must maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding TRMF information, guests and staff.

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail. 
• Authoritative verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. 
• Ability to learn the layout of the properties and buildings. 

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of security experience preferred
• Must be CPR/First Aid Certified; or able to obtain within 30 days of hire. 
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record.
