We are seeking a Temporary Warehouse Shipping Assistant to support daily operations at Capstone’s Distribution Center in North Mankato. This position assists with picking and packing customer orders, restocking inventory, cycle counting, and other general warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This individual is organized, willing to learn, and comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the workday.

Success in this role requires a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, productive, and organized work environment.

Schedule: Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required, with opportunities for up to 40 hours per week based on business needs. A consistent weekly schedule is required.

Responsibilities

Order Picking and Packing

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.

• Verify products and quantities to ensure order accuracy.

• Prepare orders for shipment while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

Inventory and Warehouse Support

• Restock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations.

• Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy as needed.

• Move, organize, and store products within the distribution center.

• Assist with general warehouse tasks to support daily operations.

Team Support and Safety

• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily shipping and productivity goals.

• Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Desired:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Travel Requirements

This position requires no travel.

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are surrounding compensation including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, work location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base range for this position is $14.00–$15.00/hour.
