The Mimosa House in Rancho Cordova is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Expeditor to join our team!

We are a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast and brunch restaurant seeking someone who can keep up with a busy kitchen while ensuring every dish is accurate, properly presented, and delivered to guests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared correctly and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
• Organize and prioritize orders to maintain efficient food service.
• Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management.
• Assist with garnishing, plating, and final food preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station.
• Help resolve order discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
• Support the team during high-volume breakfast and brunch rushes.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Schedule

The Mimosa House operates daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Applicants must have flexible morning and afternoon availability, including weekends and holidays.
