Swimm with Timm is hiring Swim Instructors to join our team at Choice Fitness in Peabody, MA. We don’t just teach kids to splash; we teach them to “Swimm Smarter, Not Harder.” If you have a passion for the water and a heart for teaching, we want to meet you!

Where You’ll Be

We operate out of Choice Fitness in Methuen, MA, which will be your primary home base. (Occasional travel to our Peabody or Salisbury locations may be required for initial training or shift coverage, with paid travel time provided).

About You

You’re high-energy, reliable, and you love seeing that "aha!" moment when a student gains confidence in the water.

• Experience: Background in swimming, childcare, camp counseling, or coaching is preferred (we provide comprehensive in-house training!).
• Certifications: Current CPR/AED and Lifeguarding/WSI, or a willingness to obtain them within your first 6 months. We'll help you get there!
• Mindset: Punctual and dependable, our students and families count on seeing your friendly face every week.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled student in good standing.

What You’ll Do

As a Swim Instructor, you aren't just watching from the sidelines, you're in the water making a lasting impact.

• Lead skill-based lessons for beginners of all ages.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with students and parents.
• Maintain a safe, fun, and focused deck environment.
• Follow our unique curriculum designed to develop proper swim technique from day one.

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (or currently enrolled student in good standing).
• Experience: Prior experience in swimming, childcare, camp counseling, or coaching is preferred (comprehensive in-house curriculum training provided).
• Certifications: Current CPR/AED and Lifeguarding/WSI certification, or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
• Availability: Consistent weekly availability for scheduled shifts (afternoons, evenings, and/or weekend mornings).
• Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory CORI/SORI background check.
