Automotive Finance Manager
Description

Automotive Finance Manager

Feldman Chevrolet of Lansing | Feldman Automotive Group

We’re looking for a hardworking, friendly leader who makes the entire team better.

Our next Finance Manager needs to bring more than strong numbers. We want someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail, and actively contributes to selling cars, developing people, and creating an outstanding customer experience.

Every customer matters. Every deal deserves your best. That includes cash deals. We expect a professional who supports our salespeople and approaches every transaction with a positive attitude.

What leadership looks like here

  • Get out of your office, stay engaged on the sales floor, and help move deals forward.
  • Take TOs, meet customers, and work alongside sales consultants and managers to earn their business.
  • Coach salespeople one-on-one, strengthen their skills, and help them become more effective.
  • Create opportunities through involvement, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Treat coworkers with respect and remain approachable, friendly, and professional under pressure.
  • Accept coaching, own your results, and contribute to the success of the entire dealership.

Own the details. Finish the job.

Strong production must come with clean execution. You will be expected to:

  • Maintain an accurate, current problem list and resolve outstanding items promptly.
  • Keep contracts in transit (CIT) tightly managed through daily follow-up and timely funding.
  • Submit complete, accurate paperwork and address lender stipulations before they become delays.
  • Present financing and protection products clearly through a consistent menu process.
  • Deliver strong F&I results while protecting customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance.
  • Manage cancellations, chargebacks, and outstanding documentation with urgency and accountability.

Requirements

Who should apply

An automotive F&I professional with proven production, excellent attention to detail, and the work ethic to follow every deal through completion. CDK and General Motors dealership experience are preferred.

If you enjoy coaching, getting involved, helping close deals, and taking pride in a clean operation, we want to meet you.

If you prefer to stay behind a desk, wait for your next deal, or complain to salespeople when a customer pays cash, this position is not the right fit.

Bring your energy. Lead by example. Help the whole team win.

Submit your résumé and a brief introduction explaining what makes you the right fit for Feldman Chevrolet of Lansing.
